In the 16th minute Eloy Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Yenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Zbytniewski scored 2-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Armani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrew Dalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Yenal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Esmeralda AFC's zone, Dobromir Pierz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Armani came out of the goal and Dobromir Pierz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adnan Yenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Banegas in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Tobiasz Zbytniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Zülfü Sungur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Yenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda AFC's Kong Kun Xu got a free kick in the 41st minute. SHADOW's Adnan Yenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Calvino in the 44th minute of play. When Tobiasz Zbytniewski fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SHADOW's protests and gave Tobiasz Zbytniewski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, SHADOW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Zbytniewski to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrew Dalli to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when SHADOW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Charlap didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd match minute, SHADOW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Topolski to maneuver through the defense. When Esmeralda AFC's Andrew Dalli in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SHADOW's goalie prevented a goal. After taking down the ball on SHADOW's corner Jaroslaw Charlap fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jorge Armani quite easily take care of the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Esmeralda AFC's goalie and right to Dobromir Pierz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Esmeralda AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 65th minute Dobromir Pierz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Hatman in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Kong Kun Xu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esmeralda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SHADOW the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Matxin to maneuver through the defense. When Jaroslaw Charlap came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SHADOW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Charlap couldn't finish the play. Adnan Yenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Dalli in the 74th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Adnan Yenal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Adnan Yenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zülfü Sungur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Esmeralda AFC's Andrew Dalli in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 91 minutes of play, Esmeralda AFC's Nicasio Fonda made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adnan Yenal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adnan Yenal made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Nicasio Fonda sent off a good shot on target. SHADOW's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaroslaw Charlap in the 97th minute. SHADOW's Jaroslaw Charlap was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorge Armani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. SHADOW were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Esmeralda AFC for a fine match.
