Intendencia AD's Severo Oriche was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sérgio Urbano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Intendencia AD's Dráusio Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Mohammad in the 16th minute of play. If Walmyr Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Walmyr Loyola notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano. Sérgio Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 played minutes Intendencia AD got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Sá. In the 29th minute Walmyr Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Krister Åström fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA VIOLA's protests and gave Krister Åström a yellow card for diving instead. Krister Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Walmyr Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Intendencia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmyr Loyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Urbano having to make a save. Walmyr Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Urbano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walmyr Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head. Sérgio Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Walmyr Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Urbano. LA VIOLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmyr Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Walmyr Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Intendencia AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Loyola couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Mohammad to make the kick off. Sérgio Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano got control of the ball when Walmyr Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Krister Åström got a free kick in the 61st minute. Intendencia AD's Diamantino Arruda was substituted for Tiaguinho Fantini. After having played for 64 minutes, Jens Anderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intendencia AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens Anderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Joakim Josefsson with Josef Mohammad as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Zé Augusto Sá hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. LA VIOLA's Allan Qvalfeldt was substituted for Mino Raiola. In the 71st minute, Zé Augusto Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens Anderson in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Intendencia AD's corner Eliu Tuver fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sérgio Urbano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Intendencia AD got a corner. LA VIOLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jens Anderson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jens Anderson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano did a great save. Jens Anderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Sérgio Urbano made a huge save. If Jens Anderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Intendencia AD's Jens Anderson in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA VIOLA's goalie prevented a goal. Sérgio Urbano was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Jens Anderson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jens Anderson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Isak Ahlbeck got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Josef Mohammad. When the final whistle sounded Intendencia AD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LA VIOLA.
