An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Lain in the 4th minute of play forced GangsTaz F. C.'s goalkeeper Aristides Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cityzens Mdz's Gustavo Loreto got control of the ball when Horacio Jesus Gana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Loreto made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Horacio Jesus Gana sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Loreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Panfilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Jesus Gana came free, but Gustavo Loreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Iztal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Abel Panfilo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustavo Loreto. The goal made the score 1-1. Apolo Irigoyen made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abel Panfilo immediately put the ball in play. GangsTaz F. C.'s Aristides Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Lain in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Abel Panfilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Panfilo to strike the kick off in the second half. Damaso Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Aristides Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Panfilo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Loreto saved Cityzens Mdz from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Panfilo came free, but Gustavo Loreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Panfilo in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Cityzens Mdz booed when GangsTaz F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Horacio Jesus Gana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Loreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Johan Carbonero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damaso Lain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Aristides Iztal made a huge save. Abel Bernard hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. GangsTaz F. C. made a substitution. Hernan Vargas replaced Lisandro Eladio. After a rather tough play, GangsTaz F. C.'s Abel Bernard got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Horacio Jesus Gana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Loreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Bruno Kaiet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Loreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Panfilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in GangsTaz F. C.'s zone, Johan Carbonero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Iztal came out of the goal and Johan Carbonero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Abel Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
