In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prato Valera's goalkeeper Michelangelo Menduni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Dan Vennersten notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Prato Valera's Michelangelo Menduni. Michelangelo Menduni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the last second Michelangelo Menduni throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dan Vennersten in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. KD Stiger were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Prato Valera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erik Bern took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Benjamin Ülger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michelangelo Menduni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Sisti, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When KD Stiger's Dan Vennersten in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prato Valera's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in KD Stiger's zone, Octavio Chico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Blixt came out of the goal and Octavio Chico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When KD Stiger's Dan Vennersten in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prato Valera's goalie prevented a goal. Prato Valera's Michelangelo Menduni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Ülger in the 34th minute of play. When KD Stiger's Dan Vennersten in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benjamin Blixt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Petrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Vennersten was the one to do the kick off. Dick Gernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvise Sisti. Karl-Michael Ersman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Michelangelo Menduni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michelangelo Menduni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Vennersten's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Benjamin Gold shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michelangelo Menduni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When KD Stiger's Dan Vennersten in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prato Valera's goalie prevented a goal. KD Stiger made a substitution. Santiago Ascacíbar replaced Karl-Michael Ersman. After a rather tough play, Prato Valera's Octavio Chico got a free kick in the 77th minute. Dan Vennersten might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michelangelo Menduni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Vennersten ran back to his position shaking his head. Michelangelo Menduni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Vennersten in the 81st minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Prato Valera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Chico to maneuver through the defense. Michelangelo Menduni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Vennersten in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Arne Hägert in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michelangelo Menduni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Octavio Chico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prato Valera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Benjamin Blixt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Chico in the 93rd minute of play. Michelangelo Menduni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Vennersten in the 95th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Hägert in the 96th minute of play forced Prato Valera's goalkeeper Michelangelo Menduni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KD Stiger were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Prato Valera for a fine match.
