Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Ogășanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Antonio Perrando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastian Titz, 1-0. Alberto Tonete who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Titz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alberto Tonete came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sebastian Titz could save by the left post. Richard Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Milanese, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Newpi Academy getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cornelio Guerrero hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Önder Cebi came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newpi Academy:s Richard Textex showed great skill when he stopped Emanuel Ogășanu:s penalty. 25 minutes into the game, Emanuel Ogășanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Richard Textex was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Milanese in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Textex saved Newpi Academy from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Ogășanu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Textex prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Per Stiig Beisel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Textex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ogășanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Milanese in the 36th minute of play. Richard Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Ogășanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Antonio Perrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sebastian Titz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Tonete to make the kick off. Nereo Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Önder Cebi in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Hanstein in the 61st minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Richard Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Ogășanu in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Richard Textex, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 63 minutes into the game, Per Stiig Beisel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sydney FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newpi Academy the free kick. Per Stiig Beisel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Perrando in the 64th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Titz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Perrando in the 66th minute of the match. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Newpi Academy from getting a goal against them. Nereo Jakes struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Sebastian Titz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newpi Academy. 75 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Önder Cebi came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nereo Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Angelo Milanese could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Richard Textex however easily saved by the left post. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newpi Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ferdinand Mendy was slow to take the kick. During this time Sydney FC's players had a chance to rest. If Önder Cebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Önder Cebi in the 92nd minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Richard Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sydney FC's goalie prevented a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
