After 2 minutes, Rômulo Custódio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivedos and the FC Bal op het Dak players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Mendes came free, but Abelardo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Oliveira in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Davies prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Olivedos's Donato Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harvey Davies narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Donato Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harvey Davies. FC Bal op het Dak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abelardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Kjellman in the 29th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martijn August to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Oliveira came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joop Bakker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Abelardo Maranhense made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Mendes in the 35th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Joop Bakker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abelardo Maranhense. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Maranhense. That made the score 2-1 after 44 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 54th minute, Cássio Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rômulo Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Marick Brunt replaced Aristides Gombal. FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn was substituted for Martijn August. After 61 minutes of play, FC Bal op het Dak's Artur Mendes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harvey Davies made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Ferraz in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute Joop Bakker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Valentijn in the 74th minute of the match. Rômulo Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cássio Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olivedos's protests and gave Cássio Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. Cássio Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Abelardo Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iwan Valentijn went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Oliveira in the 85th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Harvey Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Mendes in the 88th minute of the match. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Valentijn in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Iwan Valentijn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Maranhense. Olivedos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iwan Valentijn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 98th minute Olivedos were awarded a corner. Luisinho Ceresso went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luisinho Ceresso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Harvey Davies quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Bal op het Dak walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
