An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Avram in the 4th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joris De Raeve did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Blas Aritza 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Emanuel Coekelbergh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Blas Aritza. The goal made the score 2-1. With a little luck, La Acade's Blas Aritza got control of the ball when Brend Vanden Driessche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brend Vanden Driessche in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Brend Vanden Driessche came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kip William fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Van Dijck having to interfere. In the 38th minute Brend Vanden Driessche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Terwenhout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Blas Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Guillermo Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Limburg United's Fabian Orellana tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to La Acade getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Guillermo Soin hit a great ball. La Acade made a substitution. Shao Zhou replaced Boris Gustavsson. La Acade's Ciro Cortez was substituted for Kip William. The supporters of Limburg United booed when La Acade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Soin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 69 minutes Fabian Orellana shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Blas Aritza when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Joris De Raeve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Saturnin came free, but Sean Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 78 in the game by Ciro Cortez from a close distance when the talented Sean Van Dijck managed to make a qualified save. Limburg United's players were relieved. The supporters of La Acade booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Azailla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sean Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Saturnin in the 81st minute of play. La Acade's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teófilo Amaro in the 82nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Niceto Peli managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 84 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brend Vanden Driessche in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes in the game, Felipe Saturnin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ciro Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Sean Van Dijck made a huge save. Limburg United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
