Batıkan Muhsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flóki Factor in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the game Dedê Moura made a throw-in which Arif Onurhan played forward. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Dolfo Burgo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® from getting a goal against them. Atilla Açıkalın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Arif Onurhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Batıkan Muhsin. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arif Onurhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 34thth minute of the game Atilla Açıkalın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Dolfo Burgo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Atilla Açıkalın kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dolfo Burgo. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dolfo Burgo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dolfo Burgo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flóki Factor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horácio Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Batıkan Muhsin made a huge save. When Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Horácio Couto in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou Hong Jie in the 60th minute of play forced Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Dedê Moura with Arif Onurhan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 64 played minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa İzzet Hazer. After 77 played minutes Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® got a freekick which was hit by Pongky Fitriansyah. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Ulf Bokelund was substituted for Napoleon Podolski. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Kasper Häll was substituted for Atilla Açıkalın. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Arif Onurhan put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Batıkan Muhsin. After 94 played minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladislav Trúpchev. When Horácio Couto came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Couto couldn't finish the play. Hasan Tahsin Polatalp hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
