Nereo Ceandro made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Junior Quintana immediately put the ball in play. 19 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Quintana came free, but Diogo Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Andrews's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kryspin Cupial read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Alexandrie CF defense, 高川永 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diogo Costa. The Alexandrie CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogo Costa should have stopped the shot. Kryspin Cupial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Andrews, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Kryspin Cupial didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Andrews went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Félicien Boidin in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horia Şuplăcan got free with Diogo Costa in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kryspin Cupial was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateus Uribe's late challenge caught a Cosa nostra Lyon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateus Uribe helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Alexandrie CF got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Uribe. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cosa nostra Lyon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alexandrie CF.
