Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Jula came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Rova Rosiori's goalkeeper Paul Dumitru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Buzoianu. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by George Buzoianu in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Iosif Gurlui recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paul Dumitru. Iosif Gurlui showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 19 minutes, Manuel Tărbac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Baia Mare -MM- and the Rova Rosiori players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Tărbac kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Constantin Seremet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes, Pavel Dordea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Baia Mare -MM- and the Rova Rosiori players grew even worse after the yellow card. George Buzoianu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Dumitru having to make a save. In the 35th minute Constantin Seremet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rova Rosiori's Constantin Seremet got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zsigmond Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Măcriș in the 37th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Buzoianu made a kick off. George Buzoianu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Dumitru having to make a save. After 53 minutes, Niculae Cângea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rova Rosiori and the F.C. Baia Mare -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Rova Rosiori got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Cângea. Zsigmond Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Stegaru in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Ştefan Aelenei threw the ball into play from the sideline. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Iosif Gurlui quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 66 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Stegaru came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsigmond Pál made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantin Stegaru in the 69th minute. Vlad Enătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Rova Rosiori were awarded a corner. Natanael Moreno went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goalie and right to Grigore Jula. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Manuel Tărbac kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Natanael Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Zsigmond Pál made a huge save. Zsigmond Pál took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Măcriș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Filip Mihele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Măcriș came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál got control of the ball when Constantin Seremet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Many of Rova Rosiori's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Rova Rosiori may have spent more time on the ball, but F.C. Baia Mare -MM- were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
