None of the them looked very eager to play. 鲁宁冰 started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, 阿波罗 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 孙悦宁 to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Roberto Puch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 罗广云 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes 阿波罗's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jake Hursey who took care of the corner kick. In the 11th minute, Roberto Puch made a precise shot to the right of 罗广云. 阿波罗's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Manuel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 沈霖帆, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Puch got free with 罗广云 in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 尤青杰 in the 25th minute of the match. When 范枫青 fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanús's protests and gave 范枫青 a yellow card for diving instead. 范枫青 hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The throw-in from 孙悦宁 in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lanús's Ladislao Barros. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Puch got free with 罗广云 in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Roberto Puch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 罗广云 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 罗广云 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Puch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 罗广云 made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Roberto Puch sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 鲁宁冰 in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Gaskon made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, 鲁宁冰 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Neuer. 鲁宁冰 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 63rd match minute, 阿波罗 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 陈兴谦 to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to 阿波罗 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. 顾海洋 hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Gaskon in the 68th minute of play forced 阿波罗's goalkeeper 罗广云 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Lanús's Eloy Gaskon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 罗广云 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eloy Gaskon might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 罗广云. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eloy Gaskon ran back to his position shaking his head. Eloy Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Gaskon took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 罗广云. 罗广云 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 罗广云 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Gaskon in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Lanús booed when 阿波罗 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. 孙悦宁 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Eloy Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanús's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Gaskon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the 阿波罗 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lanús.
