When Jacob Barroso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 18 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Victor Bredberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Lima Team booed when Äng was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Zachrisson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herberto Caiado got free with Victor Bredberg in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 played minutes Äng got a freekick which was hit by Robin Sikström. The Lima Team fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Lima Team's Jacob Barroso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th minute, Carlos Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Victor Bredberg. Äng's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jacob Barroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Victor Bredberg made a huge save. Victor Bredberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herberto Caiado in the 30th minute. Robin Sikström hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Victor Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Cunha in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Pihlgren came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Pihlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Herberto Caiado made the kick off in the second half. If Herberto Caiado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lima Team had played much better football throughout.
