Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Trevor John Bailey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jamaal Browne hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes of play, CD Calle Gimena's Leopold Asselberghs made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natasha Persaud was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albin Tomasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Natasha Persaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Uno Strömqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Calle Gimena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uno Strömqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Durlabha Burlaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trevor John Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Trevor John Bailey sped through CD Calle Gimena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Durlabha Burlaka. After having played for 26 minutes, Trevor John Bailey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trevor John Bailey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trevor John Bailey scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durlabha Burlaka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlon Ramdial in the 41st minute of play forced CD Calle Gimena's goalkeeper Durlabha Burlaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durlabha Burlaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mortimer Rahamut in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopold Asselberghs to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Leopold Asselberghs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natasha Persaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durlabha Burlaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trevor John Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Leopold Asselberghs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 59 played minutes CD Calle Gimena got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Asselberghs. Durlabha Burlaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor John Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Natasha Persaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopold Asselberghs in the 67th minute of play. CD Calle Gimena's Durlabha Burlaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor John Bailey in the 69th minute of play. Marquinhos Trinidad made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bob Partap immediately put the ball in play. Durlabha Burlaka made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Trevor John Bailey sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Milan Škrinjar who took care of the corner kick. Jamaal Browne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Durlabha Burlaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marquinhos Trinidad fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Trinidad & Tobago's protests and gave Marquinhos Trinidad a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to U21 Trinidad & Tobago getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Marquinhos Trinidad hit a great ball. Uno Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Natasha Persaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Vigil Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CD Calle Gimena were victorious despite being under pressure from U21 Trinidad & Tobago for much of the match.
