Fernando Morientes went to the cornerflag to take it. 7 minutes into the match, GromY SA's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Czeszejko came free, but Krzysztof Naujasodis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Wietrzychowski in the 9th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Naujasodis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Walczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Fernando Morientes succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Wincent Budrewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GromY SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpia HSB the free kick. In the 14th match minute, GromY SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Budrewicz to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Czeszejko scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Krzysztof Naujasodis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Fabian Czeszejko sped through GromY SA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Krzysztof Naujasodis. 22 minutes into the game, Fernando Morientes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Krzysztof Naujasodis. Fernando Morientes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. 26 minutes into the game, Zachary Kornatowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Olimpia HSB's Panait Maxim quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Fabian Czeszejko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krzysztof Naujasodis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's Nikola Mirotić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krzysztof Naujasodis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olimpia HSB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Morientes in the 32nd minute. The corner led Olimpia HSB's Fernando Morientes to fire away a dangerous shot which Krzysztof Naujasodis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Czeszejko in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krzysztof Naujasodis saved GromY SA from getting behind. In the 37th minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. GromY SA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Artur Walczak heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Krzysztof Naujasodis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Czeszejko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. A hard shot 45 in the game by Fabian Czeszejko from a close distance when the talented Krzysztof Naujasodis managed to make a qualified save. GromY SA's players were relieved. Fabian Czeszejko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krzysztof Naujasodis having to make a save. With a little luck, GromY SA's Krzysztof Naujasodis got control of the ball when Fabian Czeszejko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominik Obuchowicz was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krzysztof Naujasodis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Artur Walczak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpia HSB's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Walczak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krzysztof Naujasodis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Leszek Bierfass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the GromY SA defense, Fabian Czeszejko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krzysztof Naujasodis. The GromY SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krzysztof Naujasodis should have stopped the shot. Fabian Czeszejko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krzysztof Naujasodis having to make a save. GromY SA's Krzysztof Naujasodis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 75th minute of play. Krzysztof Naujasodis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to GromY SA getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zachary Kornatowski hit a great ball. Olimpia HSB's Tomáš Petrásek was substituted for Sixto Yanguas. Olimpia HSB's Zbyszko Skorny was substituted for Artur Walczak. Krzysztof Naujasodis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacek Pietrowiak's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Klement Juchno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GromY SA's Krzysztof Naujasodis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Pietrowiak in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, GromY SA's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Pietrowiak came free, but Krzysztof Naujasodis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Jacek Pietrowiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GromY SA's Krzysztof Naujasodis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Setara hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Krzysztof Naujasodis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Pietrowiak in the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the GromY SA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olimpia HSB.
