Paços de Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Ramos came free, but Miguel Poças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Felenak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Poças having to make a save. Miguel Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Abreu in the 19th minute of the match. Igor Tudor kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Filip Felenak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Miguel Poças made a huge save. Maicon Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Filip Felenak got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Bomba made a kick off. Eugênio Paraíba made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Filip Felenak however managed to control. When José Bomba came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Bomba couldn't finish the play. José Bomba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adilson de Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but José Bomba slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 60th minute. After 66 minutes F.C. Paços de Ferreira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thiago Silvan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Filip Felenak to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Poças despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Inácio Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 79th minute of the match Inácio Secco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Inácio Secco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 80th minute, Inácio Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Filip Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C. Paços de Ferreira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
