In the 17th minute, Ezequiel Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráuzio Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Lobo Guará from getting a goal against them. Daniel Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Inautzi in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 苞. 55 minutes into the game, Hannes Kuusk lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Daniel Anaya. Gone With the Win's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Guaberto Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Daniel Anaya made a huge save. In the last second Daniel Anaya throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hannes Kuusk in the 69thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Corey Taylor scored 2-4 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Anaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dráuzio Mattos came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes. But to his dismay, Ciro de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. After 83 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Willian Caca-Rato. In the 84th minute Corey Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gone With the Win's Dráuzio Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro de Moraes in the 90th minute of play. After 94 minutes, Emilio Ramone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobo Guará and the Gone With the Win players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Emilio Ramone got a free kick in the 94th minute.
