After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soroca F.C.! 40 minutes into the game, one of Amboy FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Ariel Mourelatos, was totally fooled by Soroca F.C.'s Iordanis Karatzaferis, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hernan Lano struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ariel Mourelatos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soroca F.C.. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Ariel Mourelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Venceslao in the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Mourelatos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amboy FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicanor Mendiko in the 94th minute. Amboy FC's Nicanor Mendiko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dan Wennerqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Soroca F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amboy FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
