In the 86th minute, Ciro de Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobo Guará fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ünsal Sendur, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Zézinho Veloso hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ciro de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickaël Maris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nova Iguaçu MZFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lobo Guará.
