With his leg Eric Gherghe managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when Academia Rio's Vali Ghelmegean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Ghelmegean in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Gherghe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Vali Ghelmegean got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Ernest Mahonea got a free kick in the 10th minute. Vali Ghelmegean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Gherghe came out and tried to block the shot, but Vali Ghelmegean slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Magherescu during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Magherescu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The wind increased when Silviu Bălțăteanu made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's Silviu Bălțăteanu got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute of the match, Dorel Tudor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nechifor Epure was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to BULDOZERUL SANTA FE getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dorel Tudor hit a great ball. BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Negulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 74th minute, one of BULDOZERUL SANTA FE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BULDOZERUL SANTA FE. The referee gave Academia Rio a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Horia Berceanu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's Eric Gherghe. 4-0. In the 78th match minute, BULDOZERUL SANTA FE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Magherescu to maneuver through the defense. Silviu Bălțăteanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Epure. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silviu Bălțăteanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Silviu Bălțăteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Epure having to interfere. In the 90th minute Daniel Magherescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Epure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Vali Ghelmegean sped through BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eric Gherghe. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Nechifor Epure got control of the ball when Dorel Tudor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vali Ghelmegean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Eric Gherghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the BULDOZERUL SANTA FE players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Academia Rio.
