A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Pat Owen hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Damien Quinn. Eliseo Moreno made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Carl Barat sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute, Téo Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cup2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 15th minute, Dimcho Fuskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Quinn in the 18th minute of play. The corner ended in Mladen Pashov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Milan's Nilmar Brasil did a great save. 30 minutes into the match, Téo Mello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilmar Brasil. AC Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Téo Mello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cup2 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Mello in the 35th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes Cup2 got a freekick which was hit by Téo Mello. Pat Owen hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Cup2's Téo Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Eliseo Moreno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damien Quinn to make the kick off. AC Milan's Nilmar Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Mello in the 55th minute of play. Kasey Griggs hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Nilmar Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mladen Pashov in the 60th minute of the match. Nilmar Brasil stood somewhat misplaced when Krzysztof Skoroda came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krzysztof Skoroda struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nilmar Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cup2. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Koldo Sánchez got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Damien Quinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Téo Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Milan's Nilmar Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Skoroda got free with Nilmar Brasil in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The tension between the Cup2 and the AC Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aleandro Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, AC Milan's Ryan Harding tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Although AC Milan had been in control for most of the match, Cup2 still came away with the win.
