Gláuber Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans van der Meijde having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Hejkal came free, but Hans van der Meijde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Jan Hejkal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Real Chelsea's Hans van der Meijde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Hejkal in the 30th minute of play. Hans van der Meijde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luděk Lupač in the 31st minute of the match. Hans van der Meijde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oto Jágr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobromil Jäger hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Tomáš Puč made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Timothy Thorne sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Soběslav fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! After the first half Soběslav were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gláuber Matos made a kick off. Tomáš Puč made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Weir in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Soběslav defense, Gus Weir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomáš Puč. The Soběslav fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomáš Puč should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Real Chelsea's Marty Harland got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfie Downing in the 62nd minute of play forced Soběslav's goalkeeper Tomáš Puč to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Gajdoš in the 63rd minute of play forced Real Chelsea's goalkeeper Hans van der Meijde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfie Downing in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomáš Puč saved Soběslav from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Oto Jágr fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hans van der Meijde, passed just outside the right post. Gláuber Matos's late challenge caught a Real Chelsea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gláuber Matos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Soběslav getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gláuber Matos hit a great ball. Gláuber Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Tomáš Puč showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tris Ruddock, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Alfie Downing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Puč was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Tomáš Puč made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tris Ruddock in the 83rd minute of play. Real Chelsea's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
