But to his dismay, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yorrick Zoethout saved SV Balverliefd from getting behind. Steven Homan might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Mourelatos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steven Homan ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valerio Spadoni in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yorrick Zoethout saved SV Balverliefd from getting behind. After some careless play in the SV Balverliefd defense, Valerio Spadoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. The SV Balverliefd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yorrick Zoethout should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Amboy FC made a substitution. Linus Fredriksson replaced Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerio Spadoni in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Valerio Spadoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yorrick Zoethout was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Ruperto Modestio struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Yorrick Zoethout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amboy FC. Mario Alberto Abascal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
