The referee ignored SV Balverliefd's protests and gave Benny De Potter a yellow card for diving instead. Benny De Potter hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Amboy FC's Cornelio Rius in action when he in the 39th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerio Spadoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Amboy FC made a substitution. Linus Fredriksson replaced Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán.
