The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Gongola got free with Gui Almeida in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Chinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Craandijk came free, but Gui Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gui Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Craandijk in the 16th minute of play. Gui Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Craandijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chinho FC's zone, Ksawery Gongola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gui Almeida came out of the goal and Ksawery Gongola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gui Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Łukasz Zwolinski in the 33rd minute. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slaveyko Neev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Chinho FC's Slaveyko Neev to fire away a dangerous shot which Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Szkaradek came free, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Dieter Breves came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Chinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieter Breves couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Craandijk in the 55th minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gui Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gui Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Craandijk in the 57th minute of play. Dieter Breves ran back to his position shaking his head. Gui Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ksawery Gongola's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Chinho FC's Gui Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Craandijk in the 71st minute of play. If Leon Craandijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chinho FC's Călin Senin was substituted for Wieslaw Szkaradek. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Chinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Ksawery Gongola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gui Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FFC Merainies 03's Łukasz Zwolinski in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandr Krieser in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the FFC Merainies 03 defense, Aleksandr Krieser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. The FFC Merainies 03 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu should have stopped the shot. After 95 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Gongola. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. The FFC Merainies 03 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chinho FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Chinho FC.
