If Cosmin Bobeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Cosmin Bobeica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petruț Ţopescu. Delphine Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosmin Bobeica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Bobeica in the 10th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Petruț Ţopescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Cornel Mihai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petruț Ţopescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Petruț Ţopescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Bobeica in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Sabin Soneriu got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eugen Codin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aurelian Vârlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sabin Crușeveanu hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Miron. In the 28th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Ţăranu to maneuver through the defense. Petruț Ţopescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Bobeica in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Cosmin Bobeica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 40 minutes into the game, Damian Cudalb recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurelian Vârlan. Damian Cudalb showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxim Grecescu during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 43 minutes into the game, one of Minerul Baita -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sabin Crușeveanu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 47th minute, Cristian Baștină hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosmin Bobeica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Bobeica came free, but Petruț Ţopescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosmin Bobeica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Petruț Ţopescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cosmin Bobeica struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Petruț Ţopescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minerul Baita -MM-. Damian Cudalb charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Cudalb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damian Cudalb hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Cornel Mihai might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petruț Ţopescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornel Mihai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute Eugen Codin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Vârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Melinte in the 64th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Aurelian Vârlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petruț Ţopescu made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Cosmin Bobeica sent off a good shot on target. Aurelian Ţăranu's late challenge caught a Minerul Baita -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelian Ţăranu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Ţăranu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Delphine Stars booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Grecescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes, Delphine Stars's Sabin Crușeveanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelian Vârlan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Delphine Stars reached it. Petruț Ţopescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Bobeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelian Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Codin in the 81st minute of play. Fabian Grozuță hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Cosmin Bobeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosmin Bobeica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gică Aldulescu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gică Melinte in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Vârlan saved Minerul Baita -MM- from getting behind. 92 minutes into the game, Cornel Mihai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minerul Baita -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delphine Stars the free kick. After 92 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Mihai. Aurelian Vârlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Melinte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gică Melinte scored 2-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelian Vârlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Minerul Baita -MM-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
