An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Bernat in the 9th minute of play forced Ayla FC's goalkeeper Nilson Fraser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Fraser made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ricardo Bernat sent off a good shot on target. Nilson Fraser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Bernat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Nilson Fraser made a huge save. Franz Beckenbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvério Pinhal was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Grigore Dijmărescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led Ayla FC's Larry Knevett to fire away a dangerous shot which Grigore Dijmărescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nilson Fraser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Marcones in the 56th minute of the match. Nilson Fraser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Rob Porteus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Grigore Dijmărescu. The goal made the score 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foster Brennan in the 73rd minute of play forced Ayla FC's goalkeeper Nilson Fraser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Joel Marcones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
