Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gus Weir in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrias á Bø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Gus Weir put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Andrias á Bø. After a rather tough play, Real Chelsea's Malcolm Adcock got a free kick in the 18th minute. Andrias á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Weir in the 29th minute of the match. Drew Knight made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poul Stanković in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gus Weir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faroe Islands's Andrias á Bø was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Bart Easton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrias á Bø. Faroe Islands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bart Easton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 44th match minute, Faroe Islands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marni G. Hansen to maneuver through the defense. Óli á Borg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Drew Knight having to make a save. Faroe Islands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fríðrikur Ellingsgaard in the 49th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Poul Stanković to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gus Weir got free with Andrias á Bø in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Drew Knight stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Óli á Borg's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes of play, Real Chelsea's Bart Easton made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrias á Bø was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrias á Bø was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Bart Easton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bart Easton really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Óli á Borg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Óli á Borg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poul Stanković scored 1-4 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Drew Knight, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Faroe Islands's Andrias á Bø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Thorne in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tris Ruddock in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrias á Bø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 87 minutes, Tris Ruddock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Chelsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tris Ruddock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute Poul Stanković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drew Knight saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Andrias á Bø successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andrias á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Thorne in the 91st minute of the match. Poul Stanković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Timothy Thorne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrias á Bø. That made the score 1-6 in the 97 minute of play. Real Chelsea's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
