After 38 played minutes Faroe Islands got a freekick which was hit by Marni G. Hansen. 41 minutes into the match, Faroe Islands's goal looked a bit too open when Gus Weir came free, but Andrias á Bø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Stanković came free, but Drew Knight reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faroe Islands's Andrias á Bø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gus Weir in the 43rd minute of play. Andrias á Bø didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bart Easton went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gus Weir to strike the kick off in the second half.
