An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Tirso in the 5th minute of play forced Jedi Knights's goalkeeper Zeledon Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Tirso in the 7th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Zeledon Lordi threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcos Tirso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 22nd minute, Pascual Bernat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Lordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Marcos Tirso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeledon Lordi, 2-0. Zeledon Lordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Bernat in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Jedi Knights's Zeledon Lordi got control of the ball when Pascual Bernat tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Tirso came free, but Zeledon Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Bernat got free with Zeledon Lordi in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascual Bernat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Zeledon Lordi made a huge save. Zeledon Lordi stood somewhat misplaced when Beto Almada came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. 37 minutes into the game, Marcos Tirso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeledon Lordi. Marcos Tirso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Zeledon Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Tirso in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beto Almada made a kick off. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Serafin Hernandez pulled a muscle in his leg after 50 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Higinio Poz fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jedi Knights's protests and gave Higinio Poz a yellow card for diving instead. Zeledon Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Geofredo in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jedi Knights defense, Beto Almada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Lordi. The Jedi Knights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Lordi should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Tirso came free, but Zeledon Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Richie in the 70th minute of play. Jedi Knights were furious when Leo Txomin was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 71 minutes into the game, one of Jedi Knights:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zeledon Lordi had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcos Tirso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Jedi Knights defense, Marcos Tirso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Lordi. The Jedi Knights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Lordi should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Tirso came free, but Zeledon Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Grillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Marcos Tirso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Lordi. Jedi Knights's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Tirso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 86th minute Agustín Grillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes, Maximiliano Naike mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jedi Knights and the Ernesto Guevara SyD players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Bernat in the 90th minute of play forced Jedi Knights's goalkeeper Zeledon Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Tirso scored 10-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Lordi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Guevara SyD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
