The corner led Castanheiro SC's Telmo da Fonseca to fire away a dangerous shot which Uğuralp Tanbolat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Senna to maneuver through the defense. Bayındır Mehmet Okkan lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tarkan Akçal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 89th minute Mauro Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uğuralp Tanbolat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulisses Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Castanheiro SC were the better team. Castanheiro SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
