In the 12th minute, Adriano van Beek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Quirce was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Adriano van Beek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luis Quirce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CACYFA's Luis Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano van Beek in the 29th minute of play. Luis Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano van Beek in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the CACYFA defense, Adriano van Beek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Quirce. The CACYFA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Quirce should have stopped the shot. After 35 minutes CACYFA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliézer Paranaense who took care of the corner kick. In the 35th minute, Alejandro Larpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind CACYFA's goalkeeper Luis Quirce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Adriano van Beek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Quirce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CACYFA's Luis Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano van Beek in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind CACYFA's goalkeeper Luis Quirce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Amorim in the 65th minute of the match. Naldo Passos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Adriano van Beek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Luis Quirce made a huge save. Adriano van Beek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Adriano van Beek took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Luis Quirce to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano van Beek got free with Luis Quirce in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded ✪ XV de Umarizal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CACYFA.
