An unexpectedly hard shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 2nd minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lech Blochowiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 4th minute of the match. Jean Van Damme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustin Hamet in the 6th minute. Leonides Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Blochowiak having to interfere. Lech Blochowiak came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila. But to his dismay, Gustavo Birila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Van Damme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustin Hamet got free with Jean Van Damme in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Silvestre Roland got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, Tours Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aziz Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Lech Blochowiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 59th minute of play. Jean Van Damme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Papillon AC's Emiliano Nardo was substituted for Freddy Fagondo. 66 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Birila came free, but Lech Blochowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Zosimo Vadillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lech Blochowiak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Jenny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Van Damme was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Papillon AC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
