After 12 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Takis Lazakis. In the 52nd minute of the match Pesqueira City got a corner. Sheriff's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pesqueira City fully deserved thier win.
