SRP-Laguna's Xu Le Shu got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliksas Fenichev kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Xu Le Shu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

SRP-Laguna's Deivid de Sena was substituted for Rafael Furtado. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xu Le Shu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute Xu Le Shu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Toro Martínez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, SRP-Laguna's Xu Le Shu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Selatse.
