The audience was convinced that Jasin Jelić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislao Osasun was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Sanderlend's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Lopes came free, but Sverker Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Brahim Ben Khalidi to score against Ladislao Osasun in Angua FC's goal. 0-4 after 40 minutes. Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sanderlend from getting a goal against them. Sverker Fanström was a little too slow when Carolo Eufemio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-4. After the first half Sanderlend were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Carolo Eufemio made the kick off in the second half. Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Aggeliadis in the 57th minute of play. Sverker Fanström came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Angua FC's Calixto Landoff. But to his dismay, Calixto Landoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Aggeliadis in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute Babbis Aggeliadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Osasun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jasin Jelić in the 71st minute. Sverker Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Lopes in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Paulino Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
