Steve De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheng Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Turbo Koksy's Patryk Ranc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Jian Yong in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geert-Jan Coomans in the 10th minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Turbo Koksy's goal looked a bit too open when Geert-Jan Coomans came free, but Patryk Ranc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patryk Ranc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geert-Jan Coomans in the 18th minute of play. Steve De Wilde came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Turbo Koksy's Cheng Chao. But to his dismay, Cheng Chao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Jian Yong in the 25th minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Niels Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Ranc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels Vandamme in the 31st minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Turbo Koksy's Esteve Crespin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Niels Vandamme hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Turbo Koksy's Cheng Chao got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Turbo Koksy booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Coekelberghs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes, Turbo Koksy's Cyprian Hajduk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Steve De Wilde came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Turbo Koksy reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cheng Chao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheng Chao in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steve De Wilde saved Lions United from getting behind. After having played for 58 minutes, Cheng Chao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turbo Koksy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheng Chao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Turbo Koksy made a substitution. Olgierd Fronczak replaced Cheng Chao. Firmo Linde made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pieter Coekelberghs immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Turbo Koksy defense, Niels Vandamme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patryk Ranc. The Turbo Koksy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patryk Ranc should have stopped the shot. Olgierd Fronczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve De Wilde having to interfere. Turbo Koksy's Patryk Ranc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert-Jan Coomans in the 72nd minute of play. Patryk Ranc made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Pieter Coekelberghs sent off a good shot on target. Steve De Wilde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Fronczak in the 78th minute of the match. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Fronczak in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Lions United getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pieter Coekelberghs hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Lions United got a corner. Turbo Koksy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gao Cheng Yun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Turbo Koksy's goalie and right to Yetkin Müjdat. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Turbo Koksy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Fronczak in the 87th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Geert-Jan Coomans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Ranc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lions United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gao Cheng Yun in the 91st minute. A nice corner shot did that Gao Cheng Yun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patryk Ranc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Firmo Linde kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
