When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Ladislao Mannie sped through La Scaloneta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franco Moscatelli. Manfredi AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
