It was Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Machu Picchu's corner Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Basri İhtiyar quite easily take care of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Xorxe Canosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basri İhtiyar. Yalapa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xorxe Canosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tanek Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 23rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hayrullah Özgun in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yalapa's Diego Armando Junior. In the 34th minute of the game Hayrullah Özgun made a throw-in which Xorxe Canosa played forward. Tony Thanos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basri İhtiyar came out and tried to block the shot, but Tony Thanos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. The supporters of Machu Picchu booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Rosalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Basri İhtiyar threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı this time. In the 40thth minute of the game Xorxe Canosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xorxe Canosa in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basri İhtiyar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Machu Picchu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı in the 42nd minute. The corner ended in Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar did a great save. 45 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Thanos came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basri İhtiyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xorxe Canosa in the 47th minute.

Basri İhtiyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Thanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Thanos in the 54th minute of the match. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xorxe Canosa in the 56th minute of play. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Thanos in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Tony Thanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri İhtiyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Xorxe Canosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basri İhtiyar was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The Machu Picchu fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Machu Picchu's Xorxe Canosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yalapa's Cristobal Isusko was substituted for Faustino Dimo. Yalapa made a substitution. Atilano Dino replaced Amedeo Biscotti. Fabian Rosalio kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Machu Picchu's Ali Cengiz Rüşti was substituted for Jan Beton. Yalapa made a substitution. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı replaced Fermin Dolfo. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Thanos in the 69th minute of play. The score was now 4-1. 80 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Thanos came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Tony Thanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri İhtiyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Armando Junior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Zurawski having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Xorxe Canosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basri İhtiyar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Xorxe Canosa took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basri İhtiyar. Basri İhtiyar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Basri İhtiyar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xorxe Canosa's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Xorxe Canosa sped through Yalapa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basri İhtiyar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Machu Picchu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yalapa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
