David Belasko was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Teofilo Maidana scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ged Nightingale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Maidana in the 23rd minute of the match. Armando Basajaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Piechna, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Maidana to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Juan Guillem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrows Academy FC and the Cartero de Agronomia F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Evaristo Errando was substituted for Jaime Xavier. A collision led to Arrows Academy FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Juan Guillem hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Teofilo Maidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guy Hogg ran over to the corner to take the kick. 95 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Basajaun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryan Barron. Arrows Academy FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cartero de Agronomia F.C. had won, even though Arrows Academy FC had held more of the ball.
