Juan Bittor started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ermegildo Loramendi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Cordeiro got free with Kazimierz Czysta in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Toussain in the 10th minute of play. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Samuel Toussain managed to work through Howling Dawn U18's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Samuel Toussain dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Everardo Garoa kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Generoso Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Michael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Toussain, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The Galáctico Azul FC™ fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Galáctico Azul FC™'s Samuel Toussain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Dalmacio Natal fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Howling Dawn U18's protests and gave Dalmacio Natal a yellow card for diving instead. Dalmacio Natal hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 33rd minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Leon Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Walme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kazimierz Czysta having to make a save. Howling Dawn U18's Leon Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Toussain in the 36th minute of play. Kazimierz Czysta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Walme in the 41st minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Toussain made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Howling Dawn U18's Juan Bittor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kazimierz Czysta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th minute, Eulalio Vincent made a precise shot to the right of Leon Roldan. Howling Dawn U18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With an all-out effort, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Leon Roldan threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samuel Toussain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Edelmiro Derwin got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Galáctico Azul FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Atilano Herensuge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazimierz Czysta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Howling Dawn U18's Leon Roldan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Howling Dawn U18 from getting a goal against them. The corner led Galáctico Azul FC™'s Edelmiro Derwin to fire away a dangerous shot which Leon Roldan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Everardo Garoa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Everardo Garoa got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Juan Bittor made the kick off and play began. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 101 minutes play. Erasmo Oskarbi hit a great ball. After 102 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Toussain. In the 109th minute, Cirilo Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With the score at 2-2, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Samuel Toussain did a quick kick off. Samuel Toussain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 118th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Roldan having to make a save. Howling Dawn U18's Leon Roldan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 118th minute of the match, managed to save Howling Dawn U18 from getting a goal against them. If Siro Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 122nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severino Cruz hit a great freekick 126 minutes into the match. Leon Roldan made a fantastic save in the 127th minute, when Nicanor Eztebe sent off a good shot on target. 129 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's Atilano Herensuge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kazimierz Czysta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kazimierz Czysta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of extra-time there was still no winner. The players now faced the much dreaded penalty shoot-out.

Galáctico Azul FC™:s Kazimierz Czysta showed great skill when he stopped Juan Bittor:s penalty. In the 136th minute there was a penalty for Galáctico Azul FC™. 程夕超 stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leon Roldan. 2-3. In the 143rd minute there was a penalty for Howling Dawn U18. Urbano Lidon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kazimierz Czysta. 4-5. The Galáctico Azul FC™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galáctico Azul FC™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
