F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Scorpio in the 10th minute of play. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Găman in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A4p FC Gad's zone, Gheorghe Bociort stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal and Gheorghe Bociort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Dumitru Purcărete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Dumitru Purcărete made a precise shot to the right of Iacob Povară. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Del Piero. The supporters of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Iacob Povară showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 53rd minute of the match.
