After 9 minutes, Torbjørn Trondsen made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olly Morgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sportivo Luan Toro defense, Torbjørn Trondsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Davison. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Davison should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjørn Trondsen in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Davison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st match minute, Sportivo Luan Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Barone to maneuver through the defense. Robert Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olly Morgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olli Fiedler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermann Hesse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute Torbjørn Trondsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sportivo Luan Toro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Popolizio FBC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olli Fiedler made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Olli Fiedler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Nils Gielis replaced Olly Morgan. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Damian Regulez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sergius Ramus, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Robert Davison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rius Mascaran in the 77th minute. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Martins Palermo sped through Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermann Hesse. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo Popolizio FBC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
