WAL Family United Team's Ulvi Ulvi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Claus in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Victorio Demesio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ulvi Ulvi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lanzenkirchen were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after WAL Family United Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Holger Häfeli took the corner. The corner ended in Jo Kurt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but WAL Family United Team's Ulvi Ulvi did a great save. 19 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Claus came free, but Ulvi Ulvi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Lanzenkirchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Kurt to maneuver through the defense. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Lanzenkirchen from getting a goal against them. Joga Barbalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Karl-Åke Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Ekström in the 30th minute of play. Ulvi Ulvi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Claus in the 33rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Claus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lanzenkirchen's Roque Claus got a free kick in the 55th minute. WAL Family United Team's Ulvi Ulvi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save WAL Family United Team from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Claus came free, but Ulvi Ulvi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanuco Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Brummer having to interfere. In the 71st minute, one of WAL Family United Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for WAL Family United Team. After 83 played minutes Lanzenkirchen got a freekick which was hit by Holger Häfeli. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Basilio Sarasola managed to get in a good position for a shot. WAL Family United Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Sarasola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Åke Brummer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Basilio Sarasola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goalkeeper Ulvi Ulvi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Demesio. After 90 played minutes Lanzenkirchen got a freekick which was hit by Louis Bell. After 91 played minutes, WAL Family United Team's Cezary Januszewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in WAL Family United Team reached it. In the 93rd minute Victorio Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvi Ulvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sune Ekström's late challenge caught a Lanzenkirchen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sune Ekström helped the player get up and apologised. 99 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Claus came free, but Ulvi Ulvi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The WAL Family United Team manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lanzenkirchen to win.
