The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Derwin Urruela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute Bonifacio Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Terrazos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bonifacio Gipuzkoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Terrazos was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Ugutz Munet kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Gualterio Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, PLASNIKE's Anibal Hegoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francesco Terrazos. Francesco Terrazos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, PLASNIKE's Francisco Manni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francesco Terrazos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sotero Besga in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Egoitz saved PLASNIKE from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Ortegano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Deportivo Ortegano's Sotero Besga in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vladimiro Egoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The PLASNIKE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Ortegano were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Diegotxe was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ortegano's Ugutz Munet got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, PLASNIKE's Anastasio Diegotxe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francesco Terrazos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After having played for 73 minutes, Anibal Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PLASNIKE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Hegoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francesco Terrazos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Estebano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Rovira kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Vladimiro Egoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gualterio Estebano struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Francesco Terrazos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLASNIKE. Maximiliano Jeraldo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Jeraldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Deportivo Ortegano made a substitution. Dolfos Remon replaced Francesco Samano. Maximiliano Jeraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Derwin Urruela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters rose to their feet, but Derwin Urruela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia got free with Vladimiro Egoitz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Deportivo Ortegano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Ortegano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
