Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delyan Partinov ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Gaúcho in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Urre saved Rosario Central from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Jacinto Txartiko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Rodolfo Egoi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonny Gaeta. In the last second Jonny Gaeta throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rodolfo Egoi in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blue avalanche's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santos Isusko was slow to take the kick. During this time Rosario Central's players had a chance to rest. Hans Falck was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mohamad Salah's late challenge caught a Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamad Salah helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Blue avalanche got a freekick which was hit by Mohamad Salah. Alvaro Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rosario Central's Alvaro Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delyan Partinov in the 27th minute of play. Jonny Gaeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Egoi in the 28th minute of play. When Jacinto Txartiko came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Txartiko couldn't finish the play. Jonny Gaeta was a little too slow when Rodolfo Egoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-1. Jonny Gaeta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodolfo Egoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 41 minute of play. Mohamad Salah took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Urre. Alvaro Urre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.

In the 50th minute, Ronaldinho Gaúcho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Urre. The goal made the score 3-3. Ronaldinho Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Urre came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue avalanche's Delyan Partinov. But to his dismay, Delyan Partinov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. In the 66thth minute of the game Ronaldinho Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario Central's Alvaro Urre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mohamad Salah received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvaro Urre came out and tried to block the shot, but Mohamad Salah slotted it home off the left post making it 3-6 in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Rosario Central's Rodolfo Egoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonny Gaeta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-6. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Blue avalanche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Westerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Santos Isusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Urre made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Delyan Partinov sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Blue avalanche's Delyan Partinov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvaro Urre. Alvaro Urre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-7. Rosario Central's Alvaro Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Gaúcho in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonny Gaeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Gartzea in the 96th minute of play forced Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Jonny Gaeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Blue avalanche had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
