Jiří Skrbek hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Radislav Hošťálek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Trifan in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Dark Prophets booed when Froghino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vojtěch Holásek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Vojtěch Holásek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the game, Eduard Trifan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Radislav Hošťálek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dark Prophets's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Froghino's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Froghino made a substitution. Alvise Romagnoli replaced Dalmu Coello. Dark Prophets made a substitution. Sabin Verzeanu replaced Dorin Maleș. Froghino's Radislav Hošťálek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Trifan in the 69th minute of play. Eduard Trifan might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radislav Hošťálek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduard Trifan ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dark Prophets fans cheered their team off the field, for while Froghino had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
