Saffet Maksum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Egídio Salgado made a huge save. Cüneyt Baba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Macchia's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Emilio Macchia sped through ALTAY MYTHS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cüneyt Baba. In the 73rd minute of the match, Hakkı İzmirli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Egídio Salgado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gatot Fierro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cüneyt Baba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Erdi Demir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Salgado having to interfere. ALTAY MYTHS's Mesut Alpaslan was substituted for Erdi Demir.
