In the 95th minute, Gernando Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Esporte Club Bahia defense, Beniamin Jaraczewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Lomba. The Esporte Club Bahia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Lomba should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Napalone surykatki had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
