Dagoberto Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 6th minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliver Rizzo who took care of the corner kick. Oliver Rizzo made a great header on Despidida AFC's corner, it was just that Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cristiano Messias managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Igor Milko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Selatse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Milko in the 38th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Fernando Selatse successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lucio Morningstar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toro Martínez to make the kick off. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Moraes in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Michael Corleone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Corleone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Milko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dagoberto Moraes struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Fernando Selatse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ. Emiliano Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Morningstar in the 76th minute of the match. Cristiano Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Tino in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute Czeslaw Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. Nico Alvarenga replaced Brandon Norton. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Albuquerque was substituted for Luiz Paulo Dracena. Lucio Morningstar hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
