A nice corner shot did that Maximo Dei got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olle Casillas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. The supporters of La France FC booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Ruisko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Vázquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Miodek. Marcos Ranolfo was a little too slow when Luis Vázquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fulvio Vittorio scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Ranolfo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Traian Blăniță replaced Cornelio Ruisko. La France FC's Olle Casillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save La France FC from getting a goal against them. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Vittorio in the 74th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Vittorio in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Vittorio in the 77th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The La France FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Estudiantes de América had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
